3,748 candidates have registered for the summer session of this year’s exams, according to a statement by the Ministry of Education. The 2024 cohort is made up of 56.5% women and 43.5% men. Over 2,000 students have signed up for the general exams, while 1,700 students in the classical stream will sit their leaving exams. Finally 15 students will sit the exams following evening courses.
The exams will begin next Wednesday. 259 exam committees will evaluate the results from the written, oral and practical tests.
