These are images from the film ‘Faces of Luxembourg’, which was directed by the Grand Duchy’s first professional filmmaker, René Leclère, in 1950.
Between 1937 and 1953, Leclère directed no fewer than nine documentaries on life in Luxembourg, some of which have already been featured in our previous archive editions.
