RTL and the Centre for Audiovisual Content (CNA) have provided us with another glimpse into the past, this time focusing on a documentary about the beer-brewing process in pre-war times.
This week's edition shows images from a 1938 documentary called Garçon, un bock (loosely translates to Waiter, one beer). It was filmed at the Brasserie Mousel and depicts the individual stages of the beer-brewing process.
The documentary was directed by René Leclère, who is considered to be Luxembourg's first professional filmmaker. The premiere took place at the Marivaux cinema in April 1938.
