This weekend saw LXB Street taking over Kirchberg and drawing people from across our nation and beyond - and we've got some stunning photos!
The LXB Street event was 'off the wall' this weekend, with skaters showing off their skills, children picking up their first boards and the omnipresent booming thuds that could be heard in every corner of Kirchberg. The competitors got to perform tricks and be assessed by a team of international experts with the possibility of winning a whopping €20,000! The crowd not only got to witness the art of dropping a 'Kick-Flip', but also had the possibility to participate in various cash games.
In the evening people enjoyed a sunny apero in front of the Philharmonie and for those that were extra motivated, an after party followed. As the Philharmonie transformed into one gigantic dancefloor, partygoers from everywhere gathered to celebrate and get their groove on. With good bites, great drinks and even better tunes, it was an event not to be missed!
Our RTL Today Radio team was there to play cornhole and chat to enthusiasts of the reemerging subculture that is skateboarding.
The prize ceremony took place Sunday.
