For years beaches have been littered with plastic, with their new idea a Jamaican hostel wants to clean up the beaches. The Germaican Hostel is hoping to get people’s attention by offering a free joint to guests who pick up rubbish from the beach.
In exchange for an entire bucket of rubbish, guests get a free joint. It is hard to tell whether this offer is legal or not. The consumption of cannabis has been legalised in Jamaica in 2015, but it remains illegal to sell it.
And who knows, this might be the solution for the rubbish problem at the Upper Sûre lake, once cannabis has been legalised in Luxembourg.
