Mudam Luxembourg is offering a compact cultural escape with its Lunchtime at Mudam programme – a short guided tour followed by a Lebanese-inspired lunch, all within the space of a midday break.
The event begins with a guided tour, initially advertised as lasting 20 minutes, but often extending to about 30 minutes, allowing for a deeper appreciation of the artworks. Currently, Mudam is showcasing an exhibition exclusively dedicated to female artists from Europe and the United States, highlighting a broad spectrum of contemporary female perspectives.
Lunch is provided by Chiche!, a socially-minded restaurant known for its Lebanese and Syrian dishes. Beyond its food, Chiche! is committed to inclusion, employing refugees and migrants as part of its mission.
At Mudam, the pop-up kitchen and accompanying food truck outside serve up generous plates of Kefta rice or Lebanese-style pizza, with vegetarian options available. Each meal includes a main dish and drink, making for a satisfying conclusion to the museum experience.
Lunchtime at Mudam takes place every first and last Friday of the month, with the complete package – guided tour and lunch – priced at €20.
The museum is easily reached by tram or bus (Philharmonie/Mudam), by car (parking at Place de l'Europe), or by bike, with racks nearby.
