Monday, 1 December
Christmas in Dudelange
Dudelange marks the festive season with a series of markets and events across the city centre, including the Nikolaus parade, a winter market, and both traditional and medieval Christmas markets. Visitors can expect a mix of crafts, seasonal food, and family activities throughout the programme.
Parents and babies meeting group
A welcoming weekly session for parents and their babies aged up to twelve months. The group provides a calm setting where infants can explore and interact, while adults exchange advice, build new connections, and discuss day-to-day challenges. Activities are unstructured, giving parents space to guide play and discover simple ideas to support early development.

Apollo 11 for 6–8 year olds, Luxembourg City
Children are invited to join a playful lunar mission at the Naturmusée, beginning with an imaginative rocket-ship journey to the moon before returning to Earth to explore the museum.
Wednesday, 3 December
Bicherbus (book bus) comes to Strassen
The Bicherbus will make a stop in rue du Cimetière at the Kiss & Go parking area, offering access to a mobile collection of around 80,000 books for children, teenagers, and adults. Most titles are in German, with additional selections in French, Luxembourgish, and English. The initiative is run free of charge by the Ministry of Culture.

OTR International School Christmas Market
Step into the festive atmosphere at Tramsschapp for OTR International School’s first International Christmas Market. Visitors can expect crafts, games, music, and food from around the world, reflecting the diverse community represented at the school. All proceeds will support Ile Aux Clowns, a Luxembourg non-profit that brings moments of joy to children in hospital and others in difficult circumstances.
Friday, 5 December
St Nicholas comes to Wormeldange
St Nicholas will visit Ehnen for a festive seasonal appearance, with families invited to welcome him as he arrives in the village.
Victor's winter wonderland at Schloss Berg
Visitors can enjoy a festive winter setting among the vineyards at Victor’s winter wonderland, with mulled wine, cinnamon scents, and seasonal dishes including a vintner’s platter, onion tart, and Christmas pastries from the patisserie. Fur-covered seating and outdoor heating create a cosy atmosphere for groups of all kinds.

Toy and model train exhibition, Schifflange
The Municipality of Schifflange welcomes visitors to the seventh edition of the toy and model train exhibition, showcasing detailed models and collections at the Hall Polyvalent.

Creative workshops at Cloche d’Or (also available on Saturday)
Cloche d’Or offers a series of festive workshops for children throughout December, including bear adoption, gingerbread decorating, hat customisation, Christmas ball design, wreath making, and bell decoration. Each session provides a creative and family-friendly activity as part of the centre’s seasonal programme.
