On Friday, thirteen hopefuls took to The Voice of Germany stage for the blind auditions, including three Luxembourgers who all advanced to the next round.
Last week, 18-year-old Luxembourger Luciana Da Silva Alves wowed the judges on The Voice of Germany with her performance of Mary J. Blige’s hit No More Drama.
Her rendition during the blind audition earned the attention of singer Nico Santos, DJ Michi Beck, and rapper Smudo, all of whom turned their chairs to see Luciana for themselves. Faced with a choice of mentors, Luciana ultimately selected Nico Santos, who even went so far as to sing for her in an attempt to sway her decision.

Andrea Galleti (31) sang a rendition of Adele's Rolling In The Deep dazzling the jury and forcing singer Rea Garvey, as well as Michi Beck and Smudo to turn around. Andrea ended up choosing Rea Garvey.
As a young girl, Eugenie Moine (21) was terribly scared of microphones. At school, when singing, she used to mime the song. She has now evolved to performing on the national stage of The Voice, choosing to sing New Rules by Dua Lipa.
It was the last blind audition of the entire season. Nico Santos was thrilled, sang along, danced, and then pressed his button for the Luxembourgish contestant. He was also the only coach who still had a spot available on his team, so the choice was made quickly.
Every Luxembourger who competed has therefore made it through to the next stage. The show continues.
