Tony Kingston, co-founder of BGT Theatre Company, and aspiring writer-director Hanne Siebens joined Melissa Dalton live in the studio to discuss their upcoming production, AMARE.
This new and experimental piece, written by Hanne, explores the six types of love as defined by the ancient Greeks. Through a series of short but interlinked sketches and monologues, AMARE presents love as experienced in a range of relationships, both contemporary and historical.
The performance will run each night from 6–8 February at Lycée Michel Rodange. During the interview, Tony also shared BGT's commitment to nurturing young talent (many students from the International School of Luxembourg feature), promoting new writing, and ensuring more female representation in the theatre world.
