This Saturday, 19 November, Luxembourg will be blessed with the opportunity to experience an authentic Holly Jolly Denmark.

Rikke Rowledge, from Luxembourg's Danish community, joined The Sam Steen Show to talk about the Danish Christmas Fair happening this Saturday at the cultural centre in Moutfort from 10am to 5pm.

Rikke told Sam and Meredith that the stalls at the event will be selling Danish cuisine, drinks, Christmas decorations, books, advent wreaths and much more (if you can believe it!). This year in a brand-new location, the Christmas fair is a chance to immerse yourself into Danish culture, while also finding time to get some Christmas shopping done.

No Christmas fair is complete without tasty treats, the likes of homemade cookies, Danish candies, Danish style 'Vin Chaud', and even Christmas doughnuts. Of course, holiday items like sewn handicrafts and tree decorations will also be available for purchase.

Organised by the Danish Church in Luxembourg, the Christmas Bazaar is an important meeting place for Luxembourg's Danish community. With a community of nearly 2,000 people, the community volunteers welcome everyone to get a taste of Danish culture and cuisine.

The Danish Christmas Fair will welcome visitors, free of charge between 10 am and 5 pm this Saturday, 19 November.
