RotondesThe Clockworks are coming to Luxembourg

Steve Miller
Rambunctious indie rock four-piece The Clockworks will be bringing their unique energy to Rotondes on October 6.

The Galway-formed group consist of James McGregor on Vocals/Guitar, Sean Connelly on Guitar, Damian Greaney on Drums and Tom Freeman on bass.

Exhibiting a confident, punchy dynamic - drawing on the very best of post-punk - their ground level observations of life and killer riffs are sure to hit hard and true on the Rotondes’ Klub stage.

Resting somewhere between early Fontaines DC, The Murder Capital and Deadletter, we recommend you grab your chance to see them at this size of show before they undoubtedly start stealing headlines and selling out much larger venues.

If that’s not enough to convince you of their merits then heed the words of legendary owner of Creation Records - and the man who brought Oasis, My Bloody Valentine and Primal Scream to prominence - Alan McGee, who confidently stated back in 2021, “They’re great live and have the songs to make them big. Now the major labels are circling. I can’t see them failing.”

Catch up with Sean Connelly’s interview on the Song 2 podcast here:

The Clockworks released an under the radar classic in 2023... do they agree with the Song 2 theory?

And listen to interviews with the band on Today Radio’s The Lunchbox here:

“Moving to London and getting signed by Alan McGee, moved us to the 2nd Division, as opposed to Sunday League, our eyes are on the Premier League”

“We took everything at face value... nothing was real until it was real - you have to manage your expectations”

Tickets are available now! Grab them while you can via the den Atelier website.
