Luxembourg's youth music competition'Screaming Fields Festival' line-up revealed for 6 July at Rockhal

Two weeks of online voting has come to an end and local music experts are now ecstatic to present the final eight candidates set to play at Rockhal Club on Saturday 6 July — at the pre-eminent competition for Luxembourg musicians between the ages of 12 and 25.

Rocklab is chief among a group of Luxembourg entities proud to support young musicians in the Grand Duchy through this year’s Screaming Fields Festival. Open to the public and free for all, the event is in its 14th year and will take place at Rockhal Club next month — Saturday, the 6 of July 2024 — with doors opening at 6pm for a 6:30pm show, plus a bevy of prizes to be announced during the evening’s concluding Award Ceremony at 11pm.

This year’s eight finalists have been released to the public:

Plus, prior to playing the main stage, each of these acts will be provided with a ‘dedicated live rehearsal session’ overseen by Rocklab, where the technical team of Rockhal and a counselling musician will be on hand to provide additional guidance and support.

The winner of this year’s competition will receive “mentoring sessions, vocal coaching, musical and artistic counselling as well as performance coaching with different local and international artists and professionals”.
