Kultur | lx aims to support artists and professionals in the Luxembourg cultural sector in the areas of career development, touring and promotion.
At a press conference on Monday, Minister of Culture Sam Tanson, President Catherine Decker and the coordinators of Kultur|lx, Diane Tobes and Valérie Quile, announced the new structure and what it will entail as part of the government’s plan to further promote culture in and from the Grand Duchy.
Accessible on the website www.kulturlx.lu, artists and professionals in the cultural sector can now find a range of support and grants centred around the three core goals of career development, touring, and promotion.
Kultur | lx has already integrated some existing initiatives of the sector, such as those of music:LX and Reading Luxembourg, and is currently working on developing others.
The budget for the financial year of 2021 totals nearly €2 million. A team of 7 is set to double by the end of 2021.
