Danko Jones formed in Toronto in 1996 and built a reputation on high voltage shows and a mix of hard rock and punk that has taken them across the world. Over the years the trio has released eleven studio albums and collected six Juno Award nominations along the way. Their 2023 album Electric Sounds and the long run of touring that followed pushed the band to a new level with record breaking radio success in Germany and headline tours across Europe Mexico and Greece.
The momentum has not slowed. Danko Jones have just wrapped a run of seventeen summer festivals and are now gearing up for three shows in Ontario before launching their biggest European headline tour to date with several dates already sold out and some upgraded to larger rooms. They are also preparing to release their twelfth studio album Leo Rising on 21 November 2025. The record was produced once again by Juno Award Winning producer Eric Ratz. Fans have already heard the first two singles What You Need and Everyday is Saturday Night which have become live favourites over the summer. The next single Diamond in the Rough featuring Marty Friedman arrives on 10 October.
