Australian ARIA award-winner John Butler is back and we're giving you the chance to see him live at den Atelier on 9 November.

Following the release of his brand-new album PRISM, Butler is returning to his roots with a sound that’s both raw and refined. Co-produced with James Ireland (POND, San Cisco), PRISM captures the energy that first made him a global name with hypnotic guitar work, explosive percussion and deeply personal storytelling.

The record also marks Butler’s official move away from the John Butler Trio, opening a new chapter in his career.

An Australian singer, songwriter, and producer, Butler first made his mark as the frontman of the John Butler Trio, the roots rock and jam band formed in Fremantle back in 1998. Renowned for his mastery of a range of instruments from harmonica and lap-steel to didgeridoo and banjo, Butler’s signature sound comes from his custom 11-string Maton guitar and intricate finger-picking style.

For PRISM, his first fully solo studio album under his own name, he brought together a new band including long-time collaborator Michael Barker, marking their first reunion since 2009.

Fans can expect a mix of festival-ready anthems and introspective moments, including the powerful new single So Sorry. Supporting on the night is fellow Australian singer-songwriter Noah Dillon, bringing his own blend of heartfelt indie rock to the stage.
