After wrapping their Colossus tour in 2019, Belgian rock powerhouse Triggerfinger hit pause, then the pandemic struck, bassist Monsieur Paul departed, and the break stretched longer than planned.

Now the hunger is back. Singer/guitarist Ruben Block and drummer Mario Goossens return with “Stars,” a driving new single that signals fresh energy and a bold new chapter.

Written as a message of trust between generations, “Stars” encourages younger voices to carve their own paths while offering a wink to the wisdom of age.  "This song sings about intergenerational differences,", Ruben says, "how every younger generation needs to find their own way, navigating through everyday life, find a purpose, regardless of what other generations think."

Recorded in Los Angeles with longtime collaborator Mitchell Froom and mixed by Tchad Blake, the track pushes Triggerfinger beyond their comfort zone, layering bass hooks and sharp production into a sound that’s both familiar and fearlessly exploratory.

More than 20 years in, Triggerfinger remain a live force. Their chemistry, bass, drums, guitar and raw adrenaline, still fuels an electric stage presence. With new music and a new tour ahead, the band is ready once again to turn that hunger into the kind of thrilling, sweat-soaked shows that built their legend.
