Luxembourg's star DJ Nosi will take the stage at Tomorrowland as scheduled this weekend, despite the festival's main stage being destroyed by a fire earlier this week, he confirmed to RTL Radio.
Nosi, one of Luxembourg's most prominent DJs, has confirmed to our colleagues from RTL Radio that he will perform at Tomorrowland this weekend despite the fire that destroyed the festival's main stage. While the incident initially left him shocked, the artist remains optimistic about the event's continuation.
When images of the burning main stage surfaced earlier this week, Nosi admitted he first suspected they were AI-generated. The reality soon set in: Tomorrowland's iconic centrepiece had been reduced to ashes. "It pained my heart", he said, emphasising that his immediate concern was for the festival itself rather than his own performance.
The DJ praised the organisers for fostering a unique "sense of togetherness" among attendees.
Authorities have assured participants that the festival will proceed as planned. Nosi is scheduled to perform at the Crystal Garden stage, though he cautiously noted, "that's the information we have now. But you never know what might still change."
To prepare for the weekend, the artist went for a jog Friday morning, quipping that there would still be "plenty of partying" at Tomorrowland – one of the world's largest electronic music festivals.
A schedule planned to a T
The Luxembourgish DJ praised Tomorrowland's meticulous organisation, noting how the festival's team coordinates even last-minute details. "They tell you exactly where to be and when, down to arrival times on the day itself", Nosi told RTL Radio. The schedule includes tightly managed slots for performances, media appearances, and other commitments – a level of efficiency the artist called rare: "I’ve rarely seen people or a festival so well-organised."
Despite the structured approach, Nosi emphasised his excitement about fulfilling a career-long ambition. He anticipates a "moment of pride" not just for himself, but for Luxembourgish attendees sharing the experience.
True to his adaptable style, the DJ has prepared his set but expects to improvise. "I constantly try new things and end up playing differently each time", he admitted, acknowledging how crowd energy and spontaneous moments shape his performances. "Of course, you overthink things – sometimes maybe too much", Nosi remarked. His Tomorrowland set will last around an hour and a half, from 2pm to 3.30pm on Saturday.
