Luxembourg’s Eurovision hopeful Laura Thorn last weekend performed in Paris with renowned drag queen La Briochée, as part of her promotional tour ahead of the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.
The two took the stage together at Cabaret Madame Arthur to sing La poupée monte le son, Luxembourg’s official entry. Their performance was met with enthusiasm, and both songwriters – Ludovic-Alexandre Vidal and Julien Salvia – were also present at the event.
La Briochée, the stage name of Maëva Trioux, is a longtime Eurovision fan and a supporter of Luxembourg’s return to the competition. She therefore invited Laura to Paris for the collaboration.
Madame Arthur, where the performance took place, is the world’s oldest drag an gender-twist cabaret, founded in 1946 in the iconic Pigalle district.
The Paris event was one of several Eurovision pre-parties Laura will attend across Europe. These appearances are key opportunities to connect with fans, test audience reactions, and get a feel for performing on large stages ahead of the contest, set to take place in Basel in six weeks.
