Singer-songwriter Olivia Cox recently sat in on Today Radio’s Drive Time with Ethan Carey, treating listeners to some incredible live acoustic performance, insight in to her latest single Paris and taking part in Ethan's unique songwriting challenge.
Rising Irish pop artist, (with solid Luxembourg connections), Olivia Cox joined Ethan on Today Radio to discuss her latest single, Paris, a track that has been gaining momentum with fans for its deeply personal lyrics that also showcase Olivia's obvious singing talent.
That talent was really on show as Cox first performed a stunning acoustic rendition of her song I’ll Be Her New Man before she also took on Adele’s iconic ballad Someone Like You, putting her own delicate yet powerful spin on the beloved hit, leaving Ethan and anyone listening slightly lost for words.
To close out her time on the show, Olivia participated in the Fast Track challenge, a segment that is gaining notoriety among Luxembourg's music community, where she was given three words and just 30 minutes to craft and perform an entirely new song.
Rising to the occasion and with Ethan providing accompaniment on guitar, she delivered an impressive original piece, proving her skill and spontaneity as a songwriter.
