Not only were we pleasantly surprised by the sheer number of entries but also the standard on display. Kids as young as three had a good ol' go at recreating one of Carter's best known pieces.

The competition has been open for a couple of weeks now and it seems that the Grand Duchy youth have quite a lot of artistic smarts.

We gave you the full list of entries on Friday and you can see them below too.

Without further ado, HERE ARE OUR WINNERS! Well done to all those who took part and special congratulations to the three plucky artists.

Child (boy): Brandon Dwayne Sagun, 6yr
Filipino

Child (Boy): Adriano Izzo Genovard, 11yrs
Spanish

Child (girl): Mila Rodriguez Cosic, 3yrs
Italian

British Ambassador to Luxembourg John Marshall had this to say about the young talents lending their brushes and pens to the competition:

“It’s fantastic to know there are so many great young artists out there. These three pictures, by Mila, aged 3, Brandon aged 6 and Adriano aged 11 particularly caught my eye but the quality of the entries generally was exceptionally high. Lots of colour, creativity and individuality on display. When you have to stay at home, as we must, in support of the efforts of all the wonderful medical professionals out there who are busy saving lives, getting stuck into art is a great way to productively spend your time."
