When Ben Carter and RTL Today first spoke about a feature interview and the possibility of running a competition it was long before COVID-19 had become a crisis.
The novel virus was in the headlines, of course, but was on the other side of the world.
There had been no recorded cases and life in the GD was relatively normal.
Since then, the world has changed and the way we live has drastically altered.
We wondered if an interview would be a good idea, not least for timing but also in regards to taste. There were urgent, more pressing matters to deal with.
Ben, came back a few days after we decided to put things on hold with the idea of his Big Wheel template and suggested we ask kids, bored and at home to daub some colour on his sketch.

We thought we'd have a dozen or so scribbles.
It is wonderful, then, that so many children have entered the competition and we are delighted to present them all in this gallery.
Technical limitations mean that a list of participants is below and the winners will be announced on Friday 17 April.
We have the honour of having British Ambassador to Luxembourg John Marshall judging the prize and will have a some motivational words from him as well.
