Luxembourg national football team manager Jeff Strasser unveiled his 25-player squad for the final two Nations League fixtures on Thursday morning, introducing a handful of surprises to the line-up, with several key players unavailable due to injury.
Kiki Martins and Yvandro Borges, who already missed earlier matches in the campaign, remain sidelined, while Leandro Barreiro and Danel Sinani join the growing list of absentees. Defender Seid Korac has also been ruled out.
Returning to the squad are Laurent Jans, now fully fit after recovering from injury, and Eldin Dzogovic. Three players make their first appearance in Strasser's selection: Tim Hall, who plays in defence for league leaders UNA Strassen in the BGL Ligue, Farid Ikene from Racing Union Luxembourg, and Patrick Macedo from Residence Walferdange. Ikene and Macedo are making their senior national team debuts.
Luxembourg will first host Estonia at Stade de Luxembourg on Wednesday, 13 November, before travelling to Iceland on Saturday, 16 November, to close out their Nations League campaign. Tickets for the home match are still available.
