Patrizia van der Weken delivered another outstanding performance at the Diamond League event in Monaco on Friday evening.
The sprinter secured 4th place in the 100 metres with a time of 11.02 seconds, narrowly missing her national record by just 0.02 seconds.
This follows her historic achievement last weekend when she bagged her first-ever win at the Diamond League in Paris.
The race in Monaco was won by Julien Alfred from St. Lucia, who clocked in at 10.85 seconds. US sprinter Tamari Davis and European champion Dina Asher-Smith from the UK both finished with times of 10.99 seconds, securing second and third places, respectively.
