The Luxembourg Ice Hockey Federation is hosting an end-of-season 'Weekend of Hockey' at the Kockelscheuer Sport Centre on April 1-2, with the title of national champion up for grabs.
Attending an ice hockey event is an experience unlike any other. It's fast-paced, exciting, and filled with adrenaline-fueled moments that will leave you on the edge of your seat.
From the sound of skates cutting through the ice to the roar of the crowd after a goal, every aspect of the game is thrilling. You'll also get to witness the skill and athleticism of the players up close as they glide across the rink and showcase their talents.
Does that sound like an entertaining day out?
If that's a yes - and it should be - get yourself down to the Kockelscheuer in southern Luxembourg on the weekend of 1-2 April, where you'll get a chance to see the national champions get crowned.
Ice hockey is a growing sport in the Grand Duchy, with some matches of the Luxembourg Hockey League attracting up to 900 spectators.
This year, organisers are hoping that over 1,500 supporters could be in attendance for the Weekend of Hockey.
Last year's champions Beaufort Knights will face competition for the title from Tornado Luxembourg and Puckers Luxembourg.
There will be eight teams competing in a total of eight matches across the weekend, with the Final taking place on the evening of Sunday 2 April, to be followed by an award ceremony.
It should be a thriller - we'll see you there!
