After UEFA made an announcement on adaptations in the continental football calendar on Wednesday, FLF has now followed suit and given updates on the national situation.

The Luxembourgish football federation issued a statement on Friday, informing its member clubs of current developments in national and international competitions. Also included were the administration's guidelines concerned with the organisation of daily sporting activities in the country.

The new season of first division football is set to begin on 23 August, while the lower tiers will start a week later. CS Fola Esch will play their qualifying game for the Champions League either 18 or 19 August.

Niederkorn, Differdange, and Pétange will compete for a spot in the final rounds of the Europa League on 27 August. The schedule of the Nations League has remained unchanged.
