Anke Huber became the winner of the first edition in 1996.

Amanda Coetzer, Jennifer Capriati, Kim Clijsters, Venus Williams, Caroline Wozniacki, only to name a few of the world-class athletes that have won the WTA tournament at Kockelscheuer over the years. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, this year's edition had to be postponed.
