The young Luxembourgish athlete had passed the first three rounds of the tournament with flying colours. In the semi-final, Eléonora Molinaro showed resilience and, despite a bumpy start, managed to defeat her opponent to get through to the final.
The young tennis talent did not manage to gain the upper hand over her opponent. Maryna Chernyshova was stronger on the day and Molinaro was defeated 4:6 and 4:6.
