Fairy walk "A piece of happiness
Discover through the fairy walk the story of the fairy tale "A piece of happiness", written by Jang Linster. The fairy houses are installed along the streets of the romantic little town, starting from the station, following the Grand-Rue, passing by the pedestrian zone until arriving at the castle. Open the magical door of each fairy house and let yourself be enchanted by the tale of Clervaux.
The small houses were built by the classes of the professional and occupational cycle of the center for the intellectual development of Clervaux in collaboration with the communal workers, Electricité Bruckler, the Jugendtreff Norden and the APEMH. The images of the 10 scenes were coloured and decorated by the children of the nursery, maison relais and the fundamental school of Reuler as well as the young people of the day center Sonnenhaus APEMH of Clervaux.
"Cliärrefkuch" speciality and gift ideas
The story of the fairytale "A piece of happiness" that you can discover on the fairy walk, reveals a delicacy called "Cliärrefkuch" - the cake of Clervaux. The Commercial Union of Clervaux offers you this delicious speciality in the various stores. During your walk, you will certainly also discover one or the other gift idea in the windows of the local small shops.
Christmas ice skating
Until Sunday, December 15, an ice rink, located on the Place de la Liberation, invites the whole family to go ice skating. Free entry. The rental of ice skates takes place in exchange for your shoes. Please note that for security reasons only the use of ice skates provided by the organizer is allowed. The ice rink is open from Monday to Friday from 4 pm to 7.30 pm, Saturday from 2 pm to 8 pm and Sunday from 2 pm to 7 pm. In addition to ice skating attractions, a booth is on-site with drinks, mulled wine and small snacks.
Christmas Market
Finally, the Tourist Center Clervaux, the Commerical Union and the associations of Clervaux and neighbouring municipalities invite you to their traditional Christmas Market. On Sunday, December 8th, meet the many local artisans and stock up on gifts before the holidays. The local stores will also be open this Sunday.
Various street animation will take place during the day: the PICO BELLO's animation group with their "giant St. Nicolas", the musical framework of the Clervaux's Municipal Harmony and DJ Daniel. Experience the magic of Christmas in Clervaux between 11 am and 6 pm on the market place (Place du Marché).
