Taking place on Friday, July 31st and Saturday, August 1st at Am Sauerpark in Rosport, the free festival has grown from a single Elvis tribute concert into one of Luxembourg's most unique summer music events.
Festival founder Steven Pitman joined the Sam Steen Show on RTL Today Radio to look back on how it all began.
"I remember the first time it was just me, myself and I on stage doing my tribute to Elvis," he said. "We had one food stand and a beer stand, and by nine o'clock everything was sold out. Many more people showed up than we expected."
That success inspired organisers to make it an annual event.
"Now we're in the eighth year. It went from an evening concert to basically a two-day festival."
While Elvis remains at the heart of the festival, Pitman says the event has expanded into a celebration of rock 'n' roll and rockabilly from across the decades.
Friday evening gets underway with Ike & The Capers from Berlin, performing classic early Elvis material, before Italian Beatles tribute band The Menlove make their first appearance at the festival.
Saturday then runs from 1pm until midnight, featuring a packed programme of live music including Dutch rock 'n' roll favourites The Explosion Rockets, acclaimed Elvis tribute artist Evan King, Marc Robinson performing as Buddy Holly, Susan Brown & The Ballin' Keen, plus the return of Ike & The Capers with a celebration of the legendary Sun Records catalogue featuring the music of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis.
Alongside the live performances, visitors can enjoy food trucks, drinks, a large dance floor, a 1950s-style hair salon, Elvis memorabilia, vintage American cars and motorcycles, camping facilities and the popular evening Balloon Night Glow.
"We have people dancing all day long," Pitman said.
As darkness falls on Saturday evening, hot air balloons will light up beside the river while music continues throughout the site.
One of the festival's biggest attractions is that entry is completely free.
"It's organised together with the Commune of Rosport," Pitman explained. "It's a free event, just like it always has been, and open to the public. Anybody who loves this kind of music, the atmosphere and the old cars, just show up and have fun."
