Today, Francis of Delirium release their highly anticipated second album, Run, Run Pure Beauty, alongside a brand new single, Higher, and ahead of a special hometown album launch show at Rotondes next week.
Led by singer, songwriter and producer Jana Bahrich, Francis of Delirium have spent the last five years steadily building a reputation far beyond Luxembourg. From early breakthrough single Quit Fucking Around to acclaimed debut album Lighthouse, Bahrich has established herself as one of the most distinctive voices in contemporary indie rock.
What makes Francis of Delirium particularly compelling is Bahrich's hands-on approach. She writes, produces, directs and often creates the band's visual identity herself, giving every release a strong sense of personality and purpose.

While 2024's Lighthouse explored heartbreak, love and the transition into adulthood, Run, Run Pure Beauty widens the lens considerably. The new record takes inspiration from travel, the state of the modern world and the search for hope during uncertain times.
The album's title track imagines a future where nature ultimately outlasts the damage caused by humanity and technology. As Bahrich explains, it is "an imagining of the world after it has been destroyed by humans and technology. Thrashing against what humans have left behind, ultimately the pure beauty of nature wins out."
That theme of resilience runs throughout the album's eleven tracks, which include recent singles Little Black Dress, It's a Beautiful Life and today's release, Higher. The result is a record that feels bigger and more expansive than anything the band has attempted before, with richer harmonies, broader arrangements and an increased sense of confidence.
Produced by Bahrich alongside longtime collaborator Chris Hewett and mixed by Nicolas Vernhes, whose credits include Deerhunter, Dirty Projectors and Wild Nothing, the album continues the band's evolution while retaining the emotional honesty that first connected with listeners.
Live, Francis of Delirium remains a formidable proposition. Bahrich is joined by bassist Jeff Hennico and drummer Denis Schumacher, whose dynamic interplay has helped the band earn support slots with artists including The 1975, Alanis Morissette, Wolf Alice and DIIV, alongside headline tours across Europe and North America.
Now, with Run, Run Pure Beauty finally out in the world, Francis of Delirium return home for what promises to be one of the standout local releases of the year.
The album is available now on all major streaming platforms.
