The woman is accused in Luxembourg of human trafficking, money laundering, and forming a criminal organisation. Investigators allege she led a luxury prostitution network operating in the Grand Duchy.

According to the Portuguese authorities, between 2020 and 2026, the suspect recruited around 40 women, most of them Ukrainian nationals, through websites and then forced them to provide sexual services in apartments. The women reportedly charged between €400 and €600 for their services, with the suspect allegedly keeping half of the proceeds.

Authorities estimate that the woman earned more than €500,000 through the network.

She is due to appear before a Court of Appeal in Porto, which will determine the measures to be applied before her extradition to Luxembourg.
