Although the department currently has one of the lowest incidence rates in the Grand Est, the prefect of Moselle underlined the importance of the health measures in place this Friday.
In particular, the consumption of alcohol is still prohibited on the public highway and in public spaces, including in parks and public gardens, in municipalities with more than 10,000 inhabitants as well as in Longeville-lès-Metz.
The wearing of a mask remains mandatory in the Moselle for anyone aged 11 and over on open markets (flea markets, artisanal markets, unpacking sales, ...), at fairs, during demonstrations and on the occasion of any other gathering of people that does not allow for physical distancing.
On the other hand, the prefecture has not yet announced that it will be compulsory to wear a mask in the streets, as has recently been the case in the major towns of Meurthe-et-Moselle.
