Residents are on the lookout in Cypress, Texas. The cause of their concern is a rather unusual one: a violent squirrel continues to spread fear after it attacked two local women and left them covered in scratches and bites.
“We usually don’t go outside in the daytime because he comes out in the daytime,” one resident told KPRC. Another girl said she was too scared to go near any trees.
Residents have already contacted wildlife officials but were told that not much can be done until the animal is trapped. The victims have not specified whether they had rabies shots after the attacks.
