This brings the total number of cases to 4,476, while the number of deaths remains at 110. 219,472 tests have been carried out since the start of the outbreak, a rise of 11,662 since yesterday.

  • The Grand Ducal police carried out checks on bars and restaurants around the country overnight from Friday to Saturday. One establishment in Vianden was still open long after midnight, while in a second location in Schifflange, officers found customers at the bar without masks around 1am.
  • A secondary school has made face masks compulsory in its classrooms. The new policy is due to the rise in infections, the principal said.
