This brings the total number of cases to 4,035, while the number of deaths remains at 110. With 1,261 tests carried out in the last 24 hours, the overall number of tests conducted in Luxembourg since the beginning of the outbreak now stands at 84,934. Only one patient is currently in intensive care (2 on Friday) while 29 remain in hospital (29 also on Friday).
[block type="summary”]Dutch authorities on Saturday starting culling more than 1,500 minks after coronavirus infections surfaced at a farm. The cull at a mink farm in southern Netherlands, the epicentre of the country’s outbreak, was due to have started earlier but two animal rights groups tried to halt the slaughter. However, a judge turned down their plea on Friday.
