RBC News agency said on Thursday, citing a federal aviation report, that a flight from Moscow to Yekaterinburg, with 102 passengers on board, posed a safety risk to those on board.

Russian media report that the pilot engaged in manoeuvres in support of Russian football player Artyom Dzyuba, who had been dropped from the national team after the leak of an intimate video which allegedly featured the player.

According to RBC, Rosaviatsia blamed Pobeda’s management for the stunt. Pobeda is a subsidiary of national carrier Aeroflot.

Reuters reports that Rosaviatsia has neither confirmed or denied the authenticity of the report, characterising it as internal correspondence.
