Police swiftly responded to the incident, and questioned a man who was found repairing his car on the driveway. In response to the police explaining their concerns, the man reportedly smiled and told the deputies that he’d introduce them to the voice behind the screams for help.
Moments later, the man returned to the officers with Rambo, a 40-year-old parrot. He explained to the officers that he’d taught the bird to shout “let me out” when he was younger, at which point his feathered friend had lived in a cage.
