Dead body in Trier water treatment plantPolice believe deadly incident was an accident

RTL Today
Police are yet to find out if the man, who was found dead in a water treatment plant in Trier, was under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication when the deadly incident occurred.

A police spokesperson said this Friday morning that it seems most likely that the deadly incident had been an accident. A 48-year-old man had been found dead in a tank at a water treatment plant in Trier.

It was added that the man must have climbed over the fence to enter the water treatment plant. Police already said last week that there was no evidence suggesting the involvement of a third party.

Police are yet to confirm whether or not the man had alcohol, drugs, or medication in his blood stream.
