Officers immediately directed her to leave the motorway. During the subsequent check, the young driver showed no understanding of the danger she had created. She reportedly told police that her child was “not feeling very well”, and that she had therefore decided to take them to a fast-food restaurant.
According to police in Kaiserslautern, legal proceedings have now been initiated against the woman, and child welfare authorities have been informed.
