When stopped by policeMan caught with bag full of cannabis: "I'm buying in bulk due to lockdown"

RTL Today
Nottinghamshire police caught a suspect carrying a rucksack filled to the brim with cannabis. His excuse is one all too well-known to police these days.

CCTV reportedly picked up the suspect in Gritley Mews in Nottinghamshire, leading police and the Covid-19 team to have a closer look.

Officers stopped the suspect and searched his bag, which contained a large amount of cannabis.

The suspect’s excuse is one that police have reportedly heard more than once: “I’m buying in bulk because you can’t get out because of the lockdown.”

The suspect was nevertheless arrested on suspicion with intent to supply.
