The 48-year-old suspect was charged with unlawful imprisonment after he grabbed the sleeping woman and pulled her out of the subway.
The video shows how Bronx resident Sonny Alloway is waiting for the train to stop before rushing to the woman, lifting her up, and carrying her to a bench at the Morrison Avenue-Soundview Westchester Avenue station. The victim escapes his clutch shortly later and hurries back onto the train.
In a second video that emerged shortly after the attempted abduction, Alloway was seen getting beaten up on the street by a group of men who repeatedly call him a rapist.
He was later taken to the hospital with minor injuries before he was brought to prison.
