The Alaskan dentist was convicted on 46 counts. Charge included medical assistance fraud and reckless endangerment. The investigation into his practices had been kicked off when the dentist sent a clip of himself performing a tooth extraction on a patient while riding a hoverboard.
The patient in question also said she had never consented to being filmed while sedated. She argued that the doctor’s behaviour was “outrageous” and “narcissistic.”
The sentence will be rendered in April 2020.
