The incident occurred in the Karlshausen area, just 20km from the Luxembourg border. Police state that the suspects are believed to have committed what are referred to as “property-related offences”.
Anyone who sees suspicious individuals or vehicles in the vicinity of Neuerburg, Karlshausen, or near the Luxembourg border is asked to contact the police immediately on +49 6561 - 96850. The public is also urged not to offer lifts to any strangers.
The Bitburg police believe the suspects may be hiding in wooded areas, sheds, or barns.
