Shortly before 12pm police tracked down the suspect on a bus, from which 20 to 30 passengers had to be evacuated. The suspect resisted arrest and had to be tasered. Two police officers were injured during the arrest.
According to the latest information, both mother and child are doing well.
Little is known on the motives of the culprit, a 24-year-old man from Trier.
