Just days before Tomorrowland welcomes crowds, a fire has consumed the festival’s main stage, raising concerns about the event’s schedule.

The world-renowned Belgian music festival Tomorrowland is set to begin in just two days, but on Wednesday, authorities reported that a major fire broke out on the main stage. The cause of the blaze is still unknown.

Firefighters are currently at the scene.

Thousands of festival-goers from around the world are expected to attend from Friday to Sunday. It remains unclear whether the fire will affect the festival's schedule. A second weekend of events is planned from 25 to 27 July.

This year’s edition holds special significance for Luxembourg, with two Luxembourgish DJs – Nosi and Ogazon – scheduled to perform.
