Five performers of a high diving show and two park visitors were injured as a crack developed in a mobile pool at Germany's largest leisure park.

The accident happened at the "retorno dos Piratas", which is an aquatic acrobatics show involving high jumps. The crack in the mobile pool led to the collapse of scaffolding, which caused injury to seven people - three of whom were taken to hospital.

This is the second accident at Europa Park this summer, after a large fire broke out in June.
