There are 60 confirmed cases among pupils and 11 in teachers, according to the Trier Education Department.
Two Realschule plus are completely closed for classroom lessons: in Rheinbrohl (district Neuwied) and in Bendorf (district Mayen-Koblenz) students are currently taught online.
There are also 34 nationwide quarantine actions taken for full school classes.

In Saarland, there are quarantine orders issued by the health board for around 850 pupils (out of a total of around 120,000 pupils) and for around 120 teachers (out of around 9,400 teachers) though no schools are closed.
