According to a Eurostat study based on 2018 figures, Luxembourg residents situate themselves at a 7.6, slightly above the EU 7.3 average.

The countries with the lowest scores are Bulgaria, Croatia, Lithuania and Greece. However, despite this, it seems that Europeans on the whole are happier than in 2013.

In terms of their own financial situation, Luxembourgers gave themselves a 6.9 rating (once again out of 10). Denmark, Finland and Sweden are, financially speaking, the most satisfied.

Financial satisfaction is on the rise in all countries aside from Denmark, Holland or Luxembourg.
