The old rivalry between Jean-Claude Juncker and Nigel Farage blossomed yet again at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Sydney last week.

Brexit party leader Nigel Farage once again hit below the belt as he slammed outgoing European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Sydney last week.

While ripping the EU, Farage claimed he likes Juncker because he "is the only person who makes me feel I don't have a drink problem."

He also called Australia's former PM Malcolm Turnbull a "snake" and labelled politicians like David Cameron "trendy, metro, liberal elite masquerading as a conservative."

Last Saturday, Juncker had to shorten his holiday in Austria as he was "taken back to Luxembourg where he will undergo an urgent cholecystectomy (surgical removal of the gallbladder)," a statement from the European Commission read.
