On Thursday, a mobile unit of the Strasbourg police caught a driver who was going at 191 km/h instead of 110km/h. The officers were taken aback when they stopped the culprit. The man, a resident of Molsheim, was 88-years-old.

He told them that he was late for a vaccination appointment. Unfortunately, the officers deemed that excuse did not justify the speeding. The man’s driving license and car were seized on the spot.
